What is an event management planner?

A professional planner applies project management to the creation and development of events. This can include festivals, conferences, ceremonies, formal parties, and conventions. Planners study the brand, identify target audiences, create event concepts, coordinate the technical aspects plus produce the event.

How much will my planning cost?

Planning is offered on an as need basis.  You can choose to use our consulting services at an hourly fee; hire event managers for the day of the event with you doing all of the lead up project planning and securing vendors, or utilize our stress free full planning services from start to finish. Out of town services include a travel fee and per diems for meals and lodging.

Do I need an event planner?

Planners offer expert advice and insight on “what a client doesn’t know that they don’t know.”  Some events can take up to 250 hours or more to plan and produce. Most companies secure event management services at the beginning of the planning stages as this saves time. Planners know and have working relationships with responsible vendors that they can go to directly and assist in contract negotiations.

How can I save money?

Planners save you time and can negotiate rates on your behalf.  They know the preferred venues that will be the perfect fit for a wide range of events.  As venues get booked a year in advance, this should be the first consideration. Are contracts necessary?

Contracts protect you and your vendors. Event managers can help you assess vendor contracts as they are a legal document you are agreeing to for your event services including payment schedules.
